Asus has launched the new 7 inch tablet Asus Fonepad 7 in India today. Asus Fonepad 7 is priced at Rs. 8,999 in India. It as first launched in April in Thailand for THB 4190.
Asus Fonepad 7 comes with 7 Inch WSVGA display with resolution of 600×1024 pixel. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 ‘Clover Trail+’ processor with Hyper-Threading technology.
It runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box with ZenUI. Asus has not provided any details of its update to Android Kikat. It has 1 GB of RAM and has 8GB and 4GB storage variants with up to 64GB expandable storage capacity via microSD card.
Asus Fonepad 7 comes with 2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera. Battery capacity is not known but Asus claims up to10 hours of battery life. It has connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G, WiFi etc.
Asus Fonepad 7 is currently available on various eCommece websites including Flipkart.
