Apple have finally launched the much awaited Apple iPhone 6 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch smartphones in an event today. Apple has priced iPhone 6 4.7 inch display for $199 on two-year contract for 16GB variant in the US. The 64GB variant will be available on contract for $299. A 128 GB variant also announced by Apple that will be available for $399 on contract in the US.
On the other hand, the bigger iPhone 6 Plus 5.5 inch will be available for $100 on contract in the US. Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available starting US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK from this September 19 onwards with Pre-order from September 12.
Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will have same specifications apart from the 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches displays. Both are powered by a M8 motion coprocessor and A8 chip with 64-bit architecture. Other features includes 8-megapixel iSight Autofocus with Focus Pixels camera with True Tone flash, 1.2-megapixel front camera, Touch ID, lithium-ion battery and connectivity options such as GSM, EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE3, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFI, NFC, GPS etc.
Apple have also posted on their Indian website that Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus will be available in India from 17 October onwards. However, the company haven’t provided pricing details.
