However if one is new to the concept and want to start with something pretty and dependable then this phone is probably a good idea.
Few drawbacks of Windows Phone
Windows Phones are relatively new in the market as compared to iPhone and android phones and lags behind in many aspects. The application store of Windows Phone consists of mere 18000 apps as compared to 200,000 apps of android and even more apps of apple. Though Windows Phone have a sense of familiarity in terms of outlook sync and SkyDrive features, yet they are not on the level of the interface provided by those of the likes of Apple and Google.
Windows Phone are stable and reliable
Unlike the ever changing android platform Windows Phones are more stable in terms of new versions of operating system. The Windows 8 tile features are now being adapted by many other smartphone manufacturers as well. Also the combination of excellent multimedia features with fine Nokia hardware makes Windows Phone a worthwhile option. Windows Phone like Nokia Lumia 1020 are rapidly becoming very popular among photography enthusiasts hence a good choice if you count yourself in the shutterbug category.
