Google India has just confirmed that all the three Android One smartphone in India will receive the Android 5 Lollipop update soon maybe in next few weeks. Google posted this news on their official Google Plus post. Google will roll out this update OTA.
The Android One users were disappointed when Google haven’t rolled out the Android 5 Lollipop update after releasing it to other devices, but now users have something to cheer as this update is just weeks away now.
Google has annouced the launch of Android One devices in Indonesia that will run on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Caesar Sengupta, Google’s Product Management Vice President posted this news in their Blogspot post yesterday.
Android lollipop comes with new look and features. It comes with material design, improved notifications, battery saver features, security features, device sharing features, quick settings, faster performance, android TV and more.
It is not yet confirmed if the Indian Android One users will recieve the Android 5.1 Lollipop first or the Android 5.0 lollipop first. We have to wait and see. Users may recieve this update once available and you will recieve a notification for the update.
