YU, division of Local Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Micromax, has launched the new smartphone YU Yunique for just $75(Rs. 4,999) in India. This smartphone is available exclusively on India online retailer Snapdeal. This phone is special because it has a 4.7 Inch display and runs on Snapdragon 410 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor with Android Lollipop 5.1 OS, all this in one phone for just $75 is incredibly cheap.
Recently, YU started teasing a new smartphone for 8th September, Tuesday launch. We also saw YU5050 and YU4711 leaked via Zauba listing few days back. But, YU has only released YU Yunique, which may be budgeted YU4711.
YU Yunique comes with a 4.7 inch HD 1280×720 pixel resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has been powered by a Snapdragon 410 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor alongside Adreno 306 GPU. The phone supports Dual Micro-SIM and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS out of the box but users can have option to install Cyanogen OS 12.1 later.
It features a 8 Megapixel auto focus Rear Single-LED (single tone) flash camera with a 2MP FF front camera. The rear camera comes with Geo-tagging, Face detection, HDR, Panorama, Live filters features. It comes with 1 GB DDRIII RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage capacity with upto 32 GB microSD expandable storage slot.
YU Yunique comes with Non-removable Li-po 2000 mAh battery that can give stand-by time of up to 271 Hours and Talk time upto 7 hours. Connectivity options available are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4, GPS, microUSB v2.0, 4G FDD, 3G, 2G etc.
To buy, users must be registered on Snapdeal and registrations will close at 8:00 PM on 14th September, sale will start at 12:00 PM (noon) on 15th Sep on Snapdeal.
