David SmithOppo has now announced that it will launch the limited edition of slimmest smartphone Oppo R5 soon in India with a Gold frame. It has been priced at Rs. 29,990 and will be available starting 20th February in Indian smartphone markets.
Oppo has announced that only 10,000 units will be available globally of Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition. It will be available for pre-order in India.
It measures 4.85 mm width and weighs only 155 g. it comes with 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (2.1GHz quad-core + 1.5GHz quad-core) with the support of Adreno 405 GPU.
It has 2GB of RAM and runs on ColorOS 2.0.1 based on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage with no expandable storage. There is a 13 megapixel rear Sony IMX214 sensor LED flash camera available with a 5 megapixel front camera.
Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition comes with 2000mAh battery which comes with VOOC Rapid Charging feature that helps charging the battery up to 75% in just 30 minutes. It has 4G FDD-LTE, 3G etc connectivity options.
