HTC E9 + is a phone that has lived long on rumor mill. The phone is now finally released, but for many it may be a disappointment that in this model, HTC has replaced their usual building material, aluminum to plastic. Last we saw the company used plastic in a top model was in Desire Eye and E9 + also looks like a kind of cross between Desire Eye and One M9. Currently it is not known whether E9 + will be waterproof, so is the Desire Eye.
Sharper screen than One M9
This phone surpasses the flagship from HTC in one important point. The screen here is a half inch bigger than HTC One M9 and in addition it has significantly higher resolution with 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Around the screen, the new phone has the famous Boom Sound speakers. The strong sound of these is one of the main reasons why One series stand out.
HTC has struggled a bit with heat trouble in its own One M9. How E9 + will be in this aspect is currently unknown. The phone runs on MediaTek MT6895M and have very much in common with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 standing in One M9.
Ultra Pixels on the front
One E9 + gets the same camera setup as with One M9. This means that HTC’s own Ultra Pixel camera is moved to the front of the phone, while a 20 megapixel main camera is on the back. The phone will appear in the colors Meteor Grey, Classic Rose Gold and Gold Sepia. Currently, it is available in China.
