New Features in Cyanogen Mode 12.1

You might have heard the rumours that cyanogenmod is working to bring up the new ROM CM 12.1 in the just upcoming months. The team has already managed to launch ROM on a selected number of devices with fewer bugs. This has given an insight into the CM 12 ROM to check out the latest features and the notable changes.

To start with cyanogenmod CM12 trebuchet launcher has a quick scrubber to help you get to your application much more quickly. One needs to long press on the trebuchet launcher and slide the panel up words to get more information.

There are few improvements in the settings menu as well so that you can find the settings you are looking for. The developers have added on and off switches for the wireless settings on the top which is a re-election as you do not need to do another click to get into settings.

An interesting feature has been added called livedisplay which is a new method by cyanogenmod to calibrate the display of the smart phone. It will be able to adjust the screen colour, temperature, colour calibration and check out the power consumption as well.

There is an addition of ambient display feature as well which is familiar on Moto X devices and it will be dependent on the smart phones hardware are obviously but it will allow the compatible devices to show notifications with minimal power consumption on the screen.
