Samsung is reportedly rolling out the Android Lollipop update on Samsung Galaxy S6 edge which is getting firmware update from Lollipop 5.0 to Android Lollipop 5.0.2. This update is of 250.53 MB in size.
This update is meant for better performance and responsiveness of curved touchscreen. This update also includes updated photo editor and a fix for battery draining issue that is reported by several users.
This update is currently rolling out in Netherlands and is expected to arrive in other regions as well. User Henklbr on twitter posted the update news on their profile.
Samsung announced both Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones in MWC 2014 event and pre-orders were started last month. Samsung has already said that there may be limited units of Galaxy S6 Edge available because of the curved screen manufacturing issue.
