AmanAsus has launched a new variant of its new smartphone called the Asus ZenFone 2 in India priced at Rs. 18,999(Approx. 193 GBP) in India. This variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity. Asus has already launched other variants of ZenFone 2 having different features. There is already a Rs. 19,999 variant listed but with upgraded processor.
This new variant comes with 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core processor. It runs the latest Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS out of the box. It has expandable storage capacity of 64 GB. It features a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1920 x 1080 Pixels resolution.
Graphics are powered by Gfx 6 Series Graphic Chip. A 13 MP rear Auto Focus rear camera is available with a 5 MP front camera. It also comes with Dual Sim capability and comes with Li-Polymer 3000 mAh battery. There are different connectivity options available especially 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4, GLONASS, QZSS, SBAS, BDS, with Google Maps, Wifi, EDGE, GPRS, USB, 3G, Wi-Fi Direct, Boost Master, Wi-Fi Tethering, Bluetooth Tethering etc.
It weights only 170 gms and has Asus ZenUI. Asus has also launched Asus Zenfone 2 in Malaysia with all four variants. Its priced at RM1,299 ($362) for the 64GB variant, RM1,099 ($306) for the 32GB variant, RM899 ($250) for ZE551ML model and RM749 ($209) and RM599 ($167) for other available variants.
