AmanSony has launched the Sony Xperia Z3+ smartphone which is the variant of Sony Xperia Z4 that was launched in Japan last month. Sony will also launch the Dual SIM variant of Xperia Z3+ with the name Sony Xperia Z3+ Dual but they haven’t provided any pricing details and any schedule details for Z3+ launch dates in different regions.
Sony Xperia Z3+ comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p FHD IPS TRILUMINOS display (1080×1920 pixels) with X-Reality for mobile. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 2GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor alongside Adreno 430 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM available.
It runs the latest Google Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has 32 GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128 GB of microSD card expandable storage capacity.
It has the same 20.7 megapixel auto focus rear camera with pulsed LED flash. Other features of camera includes 8x Digital Zoom, 4K Recording, HDR, Superior Auto, Wide angle lens (25 mm), ISO12800, Sony Exmor R for mobile, SteadyShot – video stabilisation, Superior Auto – automatic scene selection, Image stabiliser and Geotagging. A front 5 MP camera is also on board.
onnectivity options includes aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5 mm audio jack, DLNA, NFC, GLONASS, Miracast, Screen Mirroring, Chromecast, Native USB tethering, Synchronisation, USB High speed 2.0 and Micro USB support, Wi-Fi MiMo and Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality, ANT+™ sport, fitness, health support, GSM, GPRS, 3G, LTE (4G), LTE (4G) Cat 6 etc.
There is a 2930 mAh battery available that can give talk time up to 17 hours and standby time up to 590 hours. Xperia Z3+ is a Waterproof and dust tight (IP65 and IP68) certified smartphone. It will be available in Black, White, Copper and Aqua Green color variants.
