Recently, Sony launched global version of Japan only Xperia Z4 called Xperia Z3+ globally and now the rumors are heating up for the Sony’s next flagship Xperia Z5 that it will be launched in Japan in September this year.
Gsmarena posted that the Xperia Z5 will be launched first in Japan like they did with Xperia Z4 or Z3+. Xperia Z5 will be launched with other smartphones like Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Ultra and other new variants in September.
Xperia Z5 will be launched with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor which has not launched yet. It will have 4 GB of RAM and will have a 21 mega-pixels Sony Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS sensor camera on rear side that will have features like 4K video recording and HDR. No details were provided about front camera.
The rumor also suggests that Xperia Z5 will have a large 4,500mAh battery and the phone will have the same old OmniBalance design. Sony, however, hasn’t confirmed any of the details above.
Sony released the Xperia Z3+ recently for 558.98 GBP in India with specifications like 5.2-inch full-HD Triluminos display, 64-bit octa-core (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 2GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 3GB of RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear and 5 mega-pixel front camera, 32GB internal storage and 2930mAh battery.
