Sprint is going to start selling the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime starting Friday, July 10. It was available previously on Cricket for $179.99 and now Sprint is going to sell it.
Sprint confirmed this on their site with all launch details. It will be available for $240 without contract but if you want to pay via Easy Pay scheme by Sprint, you can pay $0 down and 24 months monthly payments of $10. You can also buy it for $29.99 with a two-year service agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card.
Galaxy Grand Prime comes with 5-inch qHD PLS (quarter high-definition) display with 960×540 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with 1.5GB of RAM.
Galaxy Grand Prime has 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and flash and a 5 MP front selfie shooter that comes with wide-angle selfie lens. It comes with a 2,600mAh removable lithium-ion battery. This smartphone comes with a Ultra Power Saving Mode to extend battery life, When the battery charge reaches 10 percent remaining, it shut down some of the non used apps to maximize battery life which remain up to 24 more hours.
Galaxy Grand Prime comes with elegant curves and a brushed metallic bezel and weights 5.5 ounces (156 grams). It supports Sprint’s 4G LTE network and has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi calling, Wi-Fi etc connectivity options.
