Like its own predecessors, S pen of Galaxy Note 5 will has a side button. This button is used for delivering host functions which makes it different from other competitors.
One of the most interesting additions to this new Galaxy Note 5’s S pen is that it is it appears to have clickable top. This was something that was absent in its predecessors.
The point for curiosity is that will this feature be just for taking the pen out of the device or are there going to be some other functions as well.
Samsung had applied for the patent which covers the auto eject feature of an instrument. It is too early too expect this feature in Galaxy Note 5. Still the rumours are strongly saying that this time the S pen will rest so strongly on the chassis of the phablet that it is going to be really difficult to remove it with a fingernail. This auto eject feature seems to be one of the most perfect ways to release the S pen from the device. The retractable top may be due to a spring loaded system.
The patent which was filled up by Samsung a weeks ago, also tells that there might be a feature due to which the pen may eject out on voice command. But at same time it is note worthy that many a times the features filed in patents filed near the launch dates usually do not appear in the devices. So what exactly will be the features of this new S pen, will be clarified only after the launch of Galaxy Note 5.
According to the rumours and the pictures available, Galaxy Note 5 seems to have a seamless exterior, where the note pen does not protrude out as it used to be in its predecessors. But the truth will be unveiled only after the launch of the phablet.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be released alongwith Samsung S6 edge plus on 12 August.
