According to the most frequent rumours we come across, the latest hot topic is that may be Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + may be released around same time, in somewhere near mid- August. But now it seems that unveiling at the same time is not the only thing which is going to be common amongst these new phones.
There is another report, according to which Galaxy S6 Edge + is also going to have 4 GB RAM. This rumour has come from Vietnam. And if these all rumours are to be believed then both of these upcoming smartphones will be the first Samsung android phones having 4 GB RAM.
Adding on to this latest rumour, there is one more news. It was earlier being said that Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + may be powered with Snapdragon 808 SoC.
But now according to this anonymous source from Vietnam, it is being said that this new phablet will have the same EXYNOS 7420 chipset which is already present in Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. But according to this news, the chip may be set to a faster clock speed than 2.1 GHz, which is present in the two of the earlier devices.
But this report strongly contradicts the past rumours which strongly said that the new phablet will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8.8. Right now, it is difficult to say which rumour is going to be turned into a truth.
Another rumour that is upcoming is about the battery off S6 Edge +. It is being said that this smartphone will be packed with 3000 mAh battery. This seems to be decent enough but on the lower end of the phone space. This seems to be the same kind of replicate which Samsung did with S6 and S6 Edge by giving them smaller batteries as compared to last year’s Galaxy S5.
As a result ,it is expected that the new smartphone is going to be extremely thin, but how will this affect the battery life is yet to be seen. Till the product is actually unveiled we have to take all the rumours with a pinch of salt and wait for the actual smartphone to be released.
