Samsung Galaxy J2 has entered on GFXbench website, which indicates that this new addition to the company’s budget minded series is pretty close now.
This listing on benchmark has brought few confirmations about certain key specs of the device and has also announced the debut of Exynos 3475 SoC.
The chipset of this upcoming handset will feature 1.3 GHz Quad-core cortex A7 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It is expected to be a single core version. RAM on board is going to be of single gig.
8 GB total memory is expected to be on the chip while in the cell which labelled a storage, 4.3 GB is mentioned, which means the difference is going to be taken up by the system.
Further, as mentioned on the specs sheet, a 5 MP primary camera has been mentioned. But the biggest shock to users given by the company is that J2 camera will not be able to capture 1080p video recording, while its predecessor J1 could do it.
Talking about the front camera, the users are going to get a basic 1.9 MP front shooting camera and video capturing at SVGA resolution.
Talking about the credibility of the data, we are a bit skeptical as the doubts are being fuelled up by its comparison to its own predecessor J1.
Another doubt has been created by the size of display that has been quoted. It is being said that the display would be 5.7 inches with a resolution of 540 X 960 pixels.
The qHD seems to be likely present but a diagonal larger than that of 5.5 inch of Galaxy J7 is really a hard thing to digest. The previous rumours that we were earlier left with was about 4.5 inch- 4.7 inch ballpark.
Due to a number of contradictions between the present information and the previous details on Geekbench listing as well as other floating rumours, it is better to wait for some more time to get some more reliable intel and then draw some conclusions about the upcoming handset.
