AmanSamsung has launched the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy Grand Prime 4G smartphones in the Galaxy series. Both the phones will be available starting in India. Galaxy A8 is available for sale on Samsung India eStore online for Rs. 32,500 (326 GBP). Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 4G is available for Rs. 11100 (111.50 GBP).
Galaxy A8 comes with octa-core Samsung Exynos 5430 SoC (Four cores At 1.3GHz + Four at 1.8GHz). the Chines Galaxy A8 runs on 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor instead of Exynos processor.
It comes with 5.7 full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It features a 16-megapixel autofocus rear LED flash camera with optical image stabilization and a 5 MP front camera. It has a 3050mAh battery and connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, and LTE etc.
Galaxy Grand Prime 4G comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has a 5-inch qHD PLS TFT display with 540×960 pixels resolution. It will be available from second week of March. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM.
It has 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support up to 64GB. It has a 8 megapxiel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. A 2600mAh battery is available and it has connectivity features such as Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS and 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi etc.
