Samsung has launched another Galaxy series smartphone today called the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ with Galaxy Note 5 smartphone globally. Both the smartphones comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes with 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Exynos 7420 (64-bit, 14nm) Octa core (2.1GHz Quad + 1.5GHz Quad) processor. It comes with 32/64GB storage variants.
It features the same 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and f/1.9 aperture with a front 5MP selfie camera. It has a 3,000 mAh battery that comes with fast charging feature both on cable and wireless charger. Wireless charging will be enabled but you have to buy the charge separately.
It comes with connectivity features such as LTE Cat.9, Cat.6, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 with ANT+, NFC, GPS etc. You will also get Samsung Pay support via Magnetic Secure Transmission. It will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and White Pearl color variants.
Galaxy Edge+ can be pre-booked starting tomorrow and will be available on August 21. It will be available on major US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and BestBuy.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Galaxy Note 5 comes with 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core (2.1GHz Quad + 1.5GHz Quad) processor.
It also comes with 3,000mAh battery and 16MP rear and 5 MP front cameras with same features as Galaxy Edge+. Connectivity features are again same as Galaxy Edge+.
