Recently, we saw Gionee GN9007 shown up on TENAA listing which was said to be Elife S7 Mini according to rumors. But now its confirmed that Gionee is currently working on its new smartphone called the Gionee S5.1 Pro.
Online tipster, Kjuma has just posted some hands on images of Gionee S5.1 Pro smartphone. The images confirms that S5.1 Pro will be powered by a 1.30 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 8 cores MTK6753 MediaTek CPU and Mali-T720 GPU.
The front panel of the phone shows speaker and front camera at top with front flash. The back side of the phone shows the rear camera and LED flash. The bottom of the phone comes with headphone jack, charging slot and speaker. SIM slot is available on the left of the phone and sided buttons at right.
The images suggest that Gionee S5.1 Pro will have 2.5D glass body with metallic sides, found on iPhone 6. It is rumored to have 5-inch HD display with 2GB of RAM and a 13MP rear camera. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and will support 4G LTE networks with a rumored 2400 mAh battery.
We can expect that Gionee S5.1 Pro will be launched later this year with a price tag of around $300. Stay tuned for more updates.
