Samsung was found working on new “Galaxy O series” smartphones last month including Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7. Galaxy O5 was found listed on GFXBench recently revealing its entry-level specifications. Now we have just found that this device, Samsung Galaxy O5 with model number SM-G5500, is imported to India.
Zauba listing confirms that some units of Samsung Galaxy O5 with model number SM-G5500 is imported to India from China and South Korea for testing and evaluation purposes. The phone is priced at Rs. 6,752 which is around $102 in the budgeted range.
The listing confirms the screen size of the phone which is 5-inches with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Other specifications that were found on GFXBench lisiting includes a quad-core 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 SoC with the Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8Megapixel rear camera and a 5 Megapixel front camera, Android 5.1.1 OS out of the box. There is no information currently about its battery size which we may see in its future leaks.
If we talk about Galaxy O7, it is rumored to have a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage, a 13MP rear camera with a 5MP front camera and Android 5.1.1 OS out of the box.
