In the Google event, Google launched new Nexus devices LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P. Google also launched new Pixel C Android Tablet which is powered by latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Like Chromebook Pixel, Google is marketing it as a premium device with Android technology.
Pixel C Android Tablet comes with 10.2-inch display with 2560 x 1800 pixels resolution and is powered by a a quad-core Nvidia’s Tegra X1 chipset processor with Maxwell GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM. It will be available soon via Google Store.
Pixel C Tablet is priced at $499 for a 32GB variant and $599 for the 64GB variant without the keyboard. Keyboard is available separately for an additional $149. Google hasn’t provided any availability details of this tablet but have confirmed that it will be available in the time for the holidays.
Pixel C, here, stands for “convertible.” From the looks, Pixel C looks like a Chrome-book but its not a ChromeBook, it is an android powered tablet running with Android Apps. The keyboard and the tablet are held together with the help of magnets. You can use a mouse to but only a Bluetooth mouse can be used.
This tablet comes with a USB Type-C port. It comes with 32GB and 64GB storage. The keyboard of Pixel C comes with long-lasting battery, so you won’t have to charge it agaian and again as a single charge provides good battery backup.
The Pixel C Tablet also comes with unknown pixel size camera. We can see a rear camera and a front camera clearly in the images provided by Google.
