HTC October 20 Event, HTC One A9 Is Expected With Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Google unveiled the latest Android OS today called the Android 6.0 Marshmallow and confirmed that it will start rolling out to Nexus devices starting next week. HTC also launched two new flagship devices in its event before Google’s Event. And soon after Google event, HTC announced that it will launch a new device, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, on October 20 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time.

HTC sent out invitation for the October 20 event where HTC is expected to launch long rumored HTC One A9 smartphone with latest Android OS. A dedicated page is also launched by HTC here. The new HTC One phone will be launched at 5PM B.S.T. (London) time.

HTC won’t be holding any live event for the new device launch to save extra costs. This is an excellent move by HTC to increase HTC’s decreasing revenue.

HTC One A9 is expected that is rumored to launch with 10-core chipset processor. The rumored specifications of HTC One A9 includes 4 GB of RAM, a deca core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, Mali-T8xx MP4 GPU, LTE Cat.6 support, 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 2.5D glass, 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, 3500mAh battery etc.

The event will start on October 20 at 9 am in San Francisco, 12 pm in New York, 5 pm in London, 9:30 pm in New Delhi and 12:00 am in Taipei. See you there 🙂
