AmanMicrosoft is expected to launch new flagship devices Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL in the October 6 event to be held in New York City. Ahead of this event, Microsoft have listed both of the Flagship devices on official Microsft UK store with detailed specifications. However, there were no pricing details added in the listing.
Nokiapoweruser broke the news first and shared screenshot from the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL device listing from the MS store. Microsoft listed these two devices in the “Windows 10 Ready Phones” category in the store that confirms that both will run on Windows 10 OS out of the box.
Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL got number of rumors from the fans. Earlier, Evan Blass, suggested that Microsoft may launch the new Windows 10 devices on 10th October making it 10/10 date which is perfect for the launch of Windows 10 devices. Which was proved wrong by Microsoft, who sent out invites for the October 6 events after few days.
The listing of the devices confirms the rumored specifications. Lumia 950 comes with 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 pixels 565 ppi OLED Display, Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 5 MP front camera with Flash, 20 MP PureView rear camera, Short Pulse variable-tone LED Flash, Iris Scanner, USB Type-C & Dual-Role support, Wireless charging support, MicroSD card slot, 3000 mAH battery with Fast Charging etc.
Lumia 950 XL will have similar speifications like Lumia 950 but will have a large 5.7-inch Quad HD display with more powerful Snapdragon 810 processor.
The codes from the listing pages also confirms the codenames for both the devices. The codename Lumia Cityman is for Lumia 950 XL and Lumia Talkman is for Lumia 950.
