LG has officially launched the leaked LG V10 smartphone today. It comes with excellent secondary display and a duo front facing cameras. It will be available for sale in Korea this month in five color variants including Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue. LG V10 will be available in the United States, China, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East markets.
LG V10 comes with a main 5.7-inch QHD IPS Quantum Display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and a 2.1-inch IPS Quantum secondary Display with 160 x 1040 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
It comes with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 64GB eMMC inbuilt storage and expandable microSD storage up to 2TB. It features a 16MP rear camera with F1.8 Aperture and OIS 2.0. A 5MP Dual Lens (80o Standard Angle / 120o Wide Angle) front camera is also available for amazing selfies.
Another good thing is that it comes with a 3,000mAh removable battery. The phone size is 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6mm and it weights only 192g. Connectivity options it has are LTE-A Cat. 6, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB 2.0 etc.
LG will show this phone in its event in NYC tomorrow. The camera of the phone is capable of taking wide-angle photos with minimal distortion. A new multi-view recording feature is added by which all three cameras of the phone can be used at once.
The secondary display comes just above the main 5.7 inch display next to the dual front cameras which makes the phone more premium and first phone to offer such feature. The secondry display is used in “always on” mode when the screen is off or as a “dedicated launching area” for a few apps when the main display is on.
While using full screen apps, the secondry display shows off notifications to avoid interruption which is an excellent thing to check out when LG will show off in the event.
