David SmithGionee launched Elife E8 smartphone back in June this year in an event in Beijing along with Marathon M5 smartphone. Now, the Chinese phone maker has started sending the invites for its October 8 event to be held in New Delhi hinting towards its India launch.
Gionee Elife E8 comes with excellent top-end features including a 6-inch Quad HD display with 1600×2560 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MTK6795) SoC and has 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based Amigo 3.1 OS.
It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage and features a large 24 megapixel rear camera with features such as six-element lens with sapphire glass, optical image stabilisation, zoom at up to 3x, 4K video recording, a dedicated camera button and dual-tone LED flash. The phone also features a 8-megapixel front facing camera.
Connectivity features it has includes NFC, GPS, Dual SIM, 4G LTE etc and has a 3520mAh battery with fast charging feature supported. The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner at its back below the rear camera.
Gionee Elife E8 is priced at CNY 3,999, however, there is no information about its price in India. The official teaser also hints that the phone will be available via a big entry into e-Commerce.
