After launching Moto X Play in India, Motorola has finally launched the 2nd flagship, the new Moto X Style, too in India. Its priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 16GB internal storage variant and Rs. 31,999 for 32GB variant. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart and the pre-orders for X Style will start on 14 October.
Moto X Style was found listed on India import/export website Zauba with price INR 30,383 previously and now the official price is close to the expected price we posted few days back. Moto X Style is IP52 certified, that means its water-repellent and comes with nano-coating.
The specifications of the Moto X Style includes a 5.7-inch TFT LCD QHD display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with hexa-core CPU (MSM8992) and Adreno 418 GPU and additional Natural Language Processor and Contextual Computing Processor. It comes with 3 GB of DDR RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB storage variants with Micro SD Card support up to 128GB.
It has a 3000 mAh battery with Motorola’s TurboPower 25 feature that can give 10 hours of battery life from just 15 min charge. Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Micro USB, Nano-SIM, LTE cat. 6, GSM/EDGE, 4G LTE etc, front-facing stereo speakers.
It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and we can expect the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow to come soon to this device along with Moto X Play.
Last month, Motorola launched Moto X Play smartphone in India priced at Rs. 18,499 for the 16GB variant and Rs. 19,999 for the 32GB variant. Moto X Play is less powerful than Moto X Style but is still powerful as compared to other same range devices.
