AmanMotorola announced its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update plans a few days back and there were rumors online that Motorola will start the Android Marshmallow soak test for the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) in coming days. But, today, Motorola’s Senior Director SW Product Management at Motorola Mobility, David Schuster has said that all such reports for Moto X pure edition soak test are wrong and it was just a small test drive.
“There have been a couple reports of a Marshmallow “soak test” that has started for Moto X 2015 Pure Edition. Just want to make it clear that we have NOT started a formal “soak test”. We have started a small TestDrive for the Marshmallow upgrade on Moto X 2015 Pure Edition.” David wrote on his Google plus page.
He also wrote that the test drive for the Moto X Pue edition 2015 is started and will continue for the next couple of weeks and the feedback received by the company during this test cycle will determine the timing of a full soak test. This test drive also indicates that Motorola is thing about the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and may roll out soon to the Moto X 2015 pure edition anytime soon in future.
If you are a Moto X 2015 Pure edition owner and want to be included in soak test then you must be the member of the Motorola Feedback Network and you must not discuss this soak test with outer world.
