Sony has officially announced today that concept Marshmallow build is now started rolling out to Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact smartphones. Earlier this year, Sony announced the Concept for Android: Marshmallow edition, in which 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact owners will be allowed to beta test Android 6.0 Marshmallow and now its started rolling by the company.
Sony’s Anthony Devenish posted on the official Sony blog about this update. “This is the first phase, with the software concept rolling out gradually over the coming weeks – we’ll be keeping you up to date right here on the blog with all the new features and experiences that participants are helping us build.” He posted.
So, this will be the first phase of the roll-out in which the software concept will be rolling out gradually over the coming week and the users that haven’t received the update have to be patient. Sony has also released a new batch of invites due to the fevered interest in this testing program by the device owners. So the users that were left out previously can reserve their place now by going here.
This test is available only to the customers residing in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany and the interested users can “check in” in the Concept sign-up app that is available here.
