As, we recently saw the Meizu metal aka Meizu Blue Metal Charm listed on the E-commerce website Oppomart with full specifications and price, the name Meizu Metal is now official for the new Meizu device. In an official event today at the Beijing National Convention Center, Meizu launched the new Meizu metal smartphone for China.
Meizu Metal comes with a 5.5-inch full HD LTPS LCD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and Electric Glass T2X-1 Glass. It is powered by a Helio X10 MT6795 octa-core processor(ARM Cortex-A53 2.0 GHz x8, PowerVR G6200 graphics processor) with 2GB of RAM and runs on runs on Flyme 5.1 powered by YunOS. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor available on home button below display.
It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage with 128GB expandable storage slot and features a 13-megapixel rear PDAF camera with F / 2.2 aperture, Corning Gorilla third generation lens protective glass, 5 Lens, Burst Mode, Panorama mode features and a 5-megapixel front facing camera and the rear camera can capture 2K videos.
A large 3140mAh lithium-ion battery is available. Phone comes with connectivity options such as SM/3G WCMDA/4G LTE-FDD, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n network, Bluetooth, Built-in GPS, Micro SIM capability. It weights 162g. It will be available in White, Gray, Gold, Pink and Blue color variants.
Meizu Metal 16GB variant is priced at 1,099 Yuan ($173) and the 32GB storage variant is priced at 1,299 Yuan ($205) and will be available for pre-orders starting November 2.
