AmanJust after two days of launching the new Droids: DROID Turbo 2 and DROID MAXX 2, out of which, Droid MAXX 2 is available in the US as the re-branded variant of Moto X Play and the Droid Turbo 2 is US exclusive and was not available outside US yet. Motorola has now announced the Moto X Force, which is basically a re-branded variant of Droid Turbo 2, will be available outside US including Europe and Asia. It will be available starting November in European and Asian markets including the UK.
Moto X Force UK prices has been announced in an official Motorola UK blog post. The Moto X Force 32GB variant will cost GBP 499 and the 64GB variant will cost GBP 534 and is listed on the Motorola UK website here.
Moto X Force comes with a 5.4-inches AMOLED Quad HD ‘ShatterShield’ display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution. The display comes with aluminium rigid core, flexible AMOLED and dual-layer display that wouldn’t break into pieces even when dropped on a slab of concrete. The display is water-repellent guarded by nano-coating technology. It is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC and with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
It comes with 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants with a microSD card slot expandable storage up to 2TB. There is a large 3760 mAh battery available that is enough to power the device for two days. Turbo charging feature is also available which can give the device 13 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
Moto X Force features a 21-megapixel rear dual-LED flash camera with an f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detect Autofocus. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera with flash and an f/2.0 aperture is also on board. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with possibilities of Android 6 Marshmallow upgrade.
Connectivity options includes 4G LTE Cat. 4, 3G, CDMA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE , NFC, A-GPS etc with single SIM support. It will be available in Black Ballistic Nylon base color with an option of Moto Maker to choose your favorite color.
