Gionee GN5001L, Gionee GN5002 And Gionee GN8001 Now 3C Certified in China, Elife S Plus Launched In India

Gionee, the Chinese handset maker, has recently launched the new Elife S Plus smartphone in India that comes with 5-inch 720p AMOLED display and other top end specs including 3GB of RAM. We will talk about it later in this article. But first, let’s talk about the three new phones that have got 3C certification in China. Gionee’s three new smartphones including Gionee GN5001L, Gionee GN5002 and Gionee GN8001 have been 3C certified in China.

All the three phones support TD-LTE connectivity. Unfortunately, that’s all we know till now about these three phones. There is not much information about these three phones available in the 3C certificate. The Gionee GN5001L looks like a variant of the Gionee GN5001 smartphone that was recently found on TENAA certification database with all specifications and images. Gionee GN5001 has a 5.0-inches display, we can expect the same size display on Gionee GN5001L too.

Gionee GN5002 is expected to have large display then the Gionee GN5001 and from the name, Gionee GN5002 looks like an upper variant of the GN5001 with upgraded specifications. Gionee GN8001 is the newest phone from Gionee with no leaks till now. We can expect a listing of all these three smartphones on TENAA soon, so that we can checkout the specifications of these in brief.

Let’s now talk about the Gionee S Plus that was launched recently in India. Its also called Gionee Elife S Plus and is priced at INR 16,999 (around $259). It comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super Amoled display with 720×1280 pixel resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek (MT6753) processor with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Amigo 3.1 UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Dual SIM Elife S Plus has 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 64GB with microSD card slot. it features a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with fixed focus feature. A 3150mAh battery is available and connectivity options available are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE and Micro-USB.
