As we already know that Samsung is not in the news for some time but the Korean giant is definitely working on its two new Galaxy series smartphones. One in the Galaxy J series and the other in the Galaxy A series. Couple of days back, we told you about the Galaxy J3 smartphone who got certified at TENAA and 3C in China and few days back, it was also certified at FCC in the USA. So, Samsung will surely launch the Galaxy J3 first and then Galaxy A9.
Samsung is already spotted importing Galaxy A9 devices and components to India from last month onwards, as we saw on Zauba. But, recently, Samsung Galaxy A9 import data confirms that Galaxy A9 SM-A9000 will have 6-inches display instead of the rumored 5.5-inches display. You can check the image from the Zauba import database above, that clearly shows the phone model number along with the screen size 6-inches.
The Galaxy A9 devices imported on 3rd November costs INR 13,201 per unit (Around $201) and on 4th November imported devices are priced at INR 16,501 per unit (Around $251). So, we can’t say what the final price will be for the Galaxy A9. The rumors says that its price will be around INR 35000 (Around $532).
Galaxy A9, with model number SM-A9000, was already spotted in the benchmark tests revealing its specs. The Antutu benchmark suggests that it will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 620 MSM8976 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage. There was no information available about its battery and camera.
So, Zauba import of the Galaxy A9 confirms the screen size to be 6-inches which is the biggest ever from Samsung for a smartphone. More details can be confirmed once it gets certified on TENAA. Stay tuned for future updates about Galaxy A9.
