LG annouced the new LG Class smartphone back in September in home country South Korea for KRW 399,300 (around $345) and launched it with a new name LG Zero in Europe. It is currently available in Italy for €299 (around $320). There was no news about its USA launch. But now, looks like we will see its launch in the US soon as the US device certification authority FCC has just approved the LG Class smartphone.
As usual, no images in the FCC documents with only some of the specifications and some device tests reports. There were rumors that the LG Class will be launched in US by the carrier AT&T, however, there are no details available about its pricing and availability. @evleaks posted it on their Twitter account last month.
Let’s check out the specifications of the LG Class, it comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and a curved glass design with 3D-effect. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and expandable storage support via microSD card up to 2TB. It runs on Android Lollipop OS out of the box.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2050mAh battery is available with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and Micro-USB. It measures 142×71.8×7.4mm and weighs 147 grams. It will be available in Gold, Silver and Blue Black color variants.
As its already available in Europe and now approved by US FCC, we can expect that LG will soon announce the LG Class for US also in next few weeks. Till then, keep in touch with TimesNews for latest available smartphone news.
