We are just a couple of days away from the Vivo official event that is going to be held in China on 30th November where the company will launch the Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus smartphones which are already certified by TENAA and 3C in China. Apparently, two more Vivo devices with names Vivo Y51A and Vivo Y37A also got the TENAA approval few days back. TENAA has now certified two more Vivo devices with names Vivo Y51 and Vivo Y51L that carries similar specs and only Vivo can tell us the difference between these two model names. Both shares same design when we check the images of both the devices.
The only difference I noticed is the Android version which is Android 5.0 in the Vivo Y51 and Android 5.0.2 in the Vivo Y51L. Both looks like to be the low-end devices with good amount of RAM. The Vivo Y51 comes with a 5-inch TFT display with 960 × 540 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage with up to 128 GB expandable storage.
It features an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front facing camera and have GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE networks support with Bluetooth, GPS, USB, 3G, 4G LTE connectivity options. It measures 143.8 × 71.7 × 7.52 (mm) and weights 157 gms. Both the models are listed in the white color option.
Y51A, that got TENAA approval, has also same specs but has 1GB of RAM instead of the 2Gb of RAM found in these two new variants. We can’t say if Vivo will launch these two devices also in the event on 30th November but no one can read the mind of the vivo people. So, let’s wait for the event and checkout the new devices that vivo will launch there. Stay tuned.
