Meizu, the Chinese OEM, has released a number of devices this year that includes Meizu Pro 5 and the Meizu Metal. Both the devices got tremendous response from the fans worldwide making this year a great one for the company increasing the company’s profit. Now, the Chinese manufacturer Meizu has just sent out invites for its upcoming event scheduled for December 21 as the company has posted an invitation on their Weibo account. Meizu is rumored to launch the Meizu Metal Mini in this event.
Meizu posted with the teaser,”Something big happens 1219″ that hints that Meizu is going to announce something big in this event. We may see some other device in this event other than the Meizu Metal Mini which may be the Meizu pro 5 Mini. But the Meizu’s Vice President has already said that the Meizu pro 5 Mini will be unveiled next year. So anything can happen in this event.
Meizu Metal Mini is also found listed on GFXbench that reveals some of the specs of the device. The device comes with name Meizu M57AC Blue Charm Metal on GFXBench. It comes with a 4.6-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor with a Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. No other details are available about this device in the GFXBench listing like its battery, connectivity etc. So, let’s wait for Meizu to make an announcement on 19 December and we will post the updates first on this blog.
