Chinese smartphone maker ZTE will launch two new feature phones soon as two new phones from ZTE has got the TENAA approval. The devices are namely ZTE-C V8 and ZTE U288+ that will be launched with budgeted price tag in the upcoming days. As these two have made their appearance on TENAA, we can expect that these two devices will be available in China only after the launch.
TENAA listing for the ZTE-C V8 provides the images and the specifications of the device. It has a 2.4-inch TFT non-touch display with 320 × 240 pixel resolution. Its powered by a single core 0.192 GHz processor with 64MB of RAM and 128MB inbuilt storage and up to 8GB of expandable storage slot. It also supports a rear camera of 3-megapixels and no front camera is available. It will be available in black color and measures 133.5 × 64 × 21.5 mm with 205g weight. It also support USB, Audio/Video player and GPS with no FM Radio.
On the other hand, ZTE U288+ feature phone comes with the same 2.4-inch TFT non-touch display with 320 × 240 pixel resolution and is powered by a 0.26GHzsingle core processor with just 32MB of RAM which is lower than that of the ZTE-C V8. It has 128MB inbuilt storage and up to 16GB of expandable storage. It also comes with a camera with unknown size and it comes with a 1000mAh battery. it will be available in multiple color options like Black, white, gold and red. It measures 119.5 × 58 × 15mm and is lighter than the ZTE-C V8 with just 100g weight. It supports USB, FM Radio and Audio/Video player. So, there is no Bluetooth and Infrared support on both the feature phones.
Both are expected to be priced under $50 judging from the specifications. Nothing has been officially confirmed from the company, so wait for them to officially announce these smartphones with pricing and availability details. Stay tuned for more smartphone related news.
