LG has now launched the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE tablet in Korea today that will be available for sale starting December 23 in Korea on the local wireless carrier LG U+, however, no pricing details have been shared by the company as of yet. The G Pad II is already available in other screen sizes as well and this 8.3-inch variant is the latest variant from LG. The global launch details are also not available for this new LG tablet.
LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE comes with a 8.3-inch IPS Full HD WUXGA display with 1920 × 1200 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (1.5GHz Quad + 1.0 GHz Quad) along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB eMMC inbuilt storage capacity with up to 2TB Micro SD card expandable storage slot. It runs on Android 5.1.1 lollipop OS out of the box. It features an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with a 2-megapixels front facing camera.
This LG tablet comes with a large 4,800 mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity options. It measures 216.8×126.5×8.8mm and weights 366g. It will be available in Brown Gold color.
LG has already got the approval for a number of other new devices like a LG G4 Stylus Variant, LG Zero and Two Other LG Devices, LG Wine Smart and LG Class H650K. All these device are approved recently by FCC and we may expect an announcement from LG in the upcoming days as well for these unannounced devices with upgraded features from the previous phones. Out of these, LG Zero will be launched soon in the US that comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, up to 2TB expandable storage, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front facing camera, a 2050 mAh battery, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and Micro-USB connectivity options and Gold, Silver color variants.
