Motorola is hosting an event on 17th May in India and the rumors says that the Lenovo owned company is going to launch the new 4th generation Moto G devices called as Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The Moto G4 already got leaked along with the Moto G4 Plus in renders and leaked images in past. The new 4th Gen Moto G4 is now spotted imported to TENAA carrying a price tag of around $164. The device is listed with the model number XT1643 in the Indian import/export website Zauba.
The Zauba listing indicates the 4th Gen Moto G will have two color options of White and Black and will be available in 32GB inbuilt storage capacity. Both comes with price tag of around INR 10881 (around $164) according to the Zauba listing, but the actual launch price may be different. 30 units of black Moto G 4th gen and 30 units of the white Moto G 4th Gen have been imported to India from China for internal and evaluation testing purposes.
According to winfuture, parts of both the Moto G (4th Gen) and Moto G4 Plus have been imported to India as well giving us some of the details of the features of both these unannounced devices. The Moto G4 or Moto G (4th Gen) will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla glass protection. It will run on the 1.2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It will have 16GB of internal storage and expandable storage option with microSD.
It will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will support Dual SIM. It will feature a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF and 1080p video recording. A 5MP front-facing selfie camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor will also be placed. It will carry a 3000mAh battery and will support 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. It will be Water resistant and will have a 3.5mm audio jack with FM Radio support too.
The Moto G4 Plus will have almost same specs like the Moto G4 with some changes. It will have the same display, processor, OS, dual-SIM and front camera but will differ from the Moto G4 because of the upgraded 3GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera instead of 13MP and will have a fingerprint scanner as well. Other features will be same as Moto G4.
