iPhone 7 Plus rumored to launch with 256GB variant and 3100 mAh battery

Apple is currently in deep trouble as their shares closed in red at the end of 2015 for first time since 2008. With the release of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus last year, Apple may be thinking for a huge profit but they faced a loss of $57 billion at the end of the year 2015. Apple is definitely going to release the new flagships iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this year and now rumors are suggesting that Apple will introduce a new 256GB variant of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. The rumors also states that it will also have a large 3100 mAh battery.

The 6 Plus and 6s Plus were launched with 2750 mAh and 2915 mAh batteries respectively, and the jump to a 3100 mAh battery in the new iPhone 7 Plus will give a huge boost to the battery life of the phone which is the problem, till now, for many iPhone users around the world. Further, the rumor suggests that Apple will discontinue the 16 GB storage variant in the new iPhones, which makes the storage lineup as 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The new iPhone devices will feature the same 5.5-inch display.

The 16GB storage variant is also a major complaint in the iPhone community as it comes with low storage and creates problems while saving the high resolution images and the 4k videos. The storage becomes full after saving a few high quality images and videos. So the users ends up with deleting the content on their iPhone to save new content that is very very frustrating for the 16 GB variant owners of iPhone. 16 GB variant is featured as the base variant of iPhone from years and if Apple really discontinue the 16GB storage variant, the 32GB variant will become cheaper and will provide its users with more storage space, making the users happy.

While, Apple is rumored to release the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus this fall, it is also rumored to launch the 4-inch iPhone 6C that will be launched before the iPhone 7 flagships. The device is rumored to launch with same specifications and features like in the iPhone 6S but with a cheaper price. So let’s wait for Apple’s Autumn conference, where we can expect Apple to launch the rumored new iPhone 7 flagships or may be the smaller iPhone 6C.
