Ahead of CES 2016, Lenovo today launched the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite smartphone which is the variant of the Vibe S1 that was launched at IFA 2015 in Berlin. The Vibe S1 was launched with dual 8-megapixel selfie cameras but the Vibe S1 lite doesn’t have dual selfie camera setup but it has a single selfie camera of 8-megapixel instead.
The front camera of the Vibe S1 lite smartphone comes with a Sony made image sensor along with a soft-LED flash for better low-light images. The Vibe S1 Lite is priced at $199 and will be available for sale in the upcoming days globally.
Let’s check the phones specifications first. The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite smartphone comes with a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor along with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB internal storage and comes with storage expansion slot with up to 128GB using a microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The device supports Dual SIM and features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and BSI sensor. It also has a selfie camera, as we discussed above, of 8-megapixel that comes with Sony sensor, 5P lenses a soft LED flash. It is backed up by a 2700mAh built-in battery and comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio support. It measures 145 x 71 x 8.55mm and weights 129g.
