CES 2016: Acer Launches Iconia One 8 (B1-850) Tablet With 8-inch Display

Another company, Acer, has launched a new 8-inch tablet called the Acer Iconia One 8 at CES 2016 event in Las Vegas which comes with the model number B1-850 and is the successor to the Iconia One 8 B1-830 tablet that was launched last year. Acer says that this tablet is meant for the families, children or novice users and this tablet will be available in North America in February at an ultra-affordable price of US$99.99 only and in EMEA starting this month with prices starting at €129. This tablet comes with a Kids Center app that provides a child-friendly interface and also enables parental controls.

The Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-850) tablet comes with an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and 10-point multi-touch feature for providing bright and vivid images with wide-viewing angles. The device provides a better touch experience for gaming also. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor.

It features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 1GB of DDR3L RAM with 16GB internal storage and a storage expansion slot with up to 128GB Micro SD card storage.It has a large 4600mAh battery that can give up to 9 hours of battery life. This tablet includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc connectivity options.

The new Iconia One 8 tablet is available in white and blue back cover options. This tablet also comes with smart tools provide by Acer like
