As we already know that Huawei is teasing the new products via their social media accounts that includes a smartphone and a tablet and smartwatch. Huawei Mate 8 is one of them that was launched in November last year. But, now the device has been listed online ahead of CES 2016 revealing its price. The device is listed on Vmall Italy website for €599.90 (around $644) and is listed in Moonlight Silver and Space Grey color variants with model name NXT-L29. However, the Mocha Brown and Champagne Gold color options are not available on the retailer website.
The Huawei Mate 8 comes with a 6.0-inches full HD LCD IPS-NEO display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by the Huawei’s Kirin 950 octa-core (2.3GHz Cortex-A72 quad-core + 1.8GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) chipset paired with Mali-T880 GPU and an i5 co-processor. The device is listed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage and the 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage variant is not available on the online retailer. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with EMUI 4.0.
It features a 16 MP rear Sony IMX298 sensor with optical Image Stabilizing (OIS), the dedicated processor (ISP) and an 8 MP front facing camera. It is backed up by the large 4,000 mAh battery that gets fully charged in 2.5 hours of charging. Connectivity options includes Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G Cat.6 LTE-FDD / TDD-LTE, 3G: WCDMA / TD-SCDMA, GPS / AGPS / GLONASS / Beidou, 3.5mm Jack Audio, micro USB etc. It measures 157.1 x 80.6 x 7.9 mm and weights 185 grams. The Huawei Mate 8 comes in full metal body, Dual SIM Dual Standby support and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the phone. According to rumors, Huawei is also going to launch the Huawei P9 smartphone and the Honor X3 tablet in the CES 2016 event. In Addition, Huawei is expected to announce its entry into the US market as well with the launch of Huawei Mate 8 in the US.
