From last few months Samsung is rumored to be working on its first ever Windows 10 tablet that is expected to be announced at the MWC event in Barcelona. The tablet name is not known yet but it is confirmed that this tablet comes with the model number SM-W700 and will have a 12-inch display. The device has got the certification from a number of authorities like Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance and the tablet was also found listed in the database of Indian import/ export website Zauba confirming the existence of this tablet.
Now this tablet has got the FCC approval in the US hinting towards its imminent launch in the upcoming days or at the MWC 2016 event. The FCC documents for the tablet doesn’t give much information about this tablet. The FCC documents confirms that this tablet have two model number SM-W700 and SM-W703, however, the difference between these two model numbers is unknown currently. There is no mention of 4G LTE connectivity in the documents but the tablet is confirmed to have other connectivity options like WiFi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 LE/BLE, DTS/UNII a/b/g/n/ac and this tablet measures 287.5mm x 196mm x 348 mm(overall diagonal) 315 mm(display diagonal).
This 12-inch Samsung tablet is rumored to have 4GB of RAM and will have 12-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution. This tablet is expected to be powered by the Intel Core M processor and this tablet will also includes the S Pen. It is rumored to weight 600 grams only. The FCC documents also confirms a rear camera with unknown megapixel size. No other details are listed in the FCC documents about this tablet.
If we talk about the pricing details of this tablet, we can expect the price around $450 and the same is confirmed by this tablet’s Zauba listing that lists this tablet with price tag of Rs. 30,656 which is around $450 according to current currency exchange rates. Zauba listing also confirms that 6 pieces of the tablet were imported to India for testing and evaluation purposes from South Korea on 19th of January this year.
Apart from this tablet, Samsung is also rumored to launch the next flagship Galaxy S series devices to be called as Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and an accessory maker even listed the cases for these unannounced Samsung device on their website. The Galaxy S7 is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in some regions and Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor in others.
