Motorola has already launched its new Moto X Play and Moto X Style devices in the Indian market and the Lenovo owned company is all set to launch their new device Moto X Force with shatterproof display. Moto X Force was launched for GBP 499 in the UK for 32GB variant and the 64GB variant is priced at GBP 534 and we can expect similar price tag for this device for Indian market. Moto X Force is an international variant of the Droid Turbo 2 smartphone that is available for Verizon Wireless currently. It comes with ‘ShatterShield’ display and company claims that it is made up of an aluminium rigid core flexible AMOLED display with dual-layer touchscreen panels that wouldn’t break into pieces even when dropped on a slab of concrete. This device also features the water-repellent nano-coating feature.
Moto X Force comes with a 5.4-inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution and is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options and also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card. It comes in single SIM option and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
It features a 21-megapixel rear-camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash with Phase Detect Autofocus and a 5-megapixel front camera with flash and an f/2.0 aperture is also available. It comes with a 3760mAh battery with Quick Charging support and connectivity options includes 4G LTE (Cat. 4), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB etc. It will be available in India via Flipkart and may be via various retail outlets in India.
