Samsung has recently sent out invites for its February 21 event just before the MWC 2016 event start date and has also confirmed that it will launch the company’s new flagship devices in this event that will be the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Now the official Samsung website has just confirmed the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone on its developer website giving the details about new edge features. This might be a mistake by the Korean giant and has now removed the “Galaxy S7 Edge” name from the official page after picked up by several websites.
Samsung has recently added a new page on its developer website where they distributes SDKs and other important tools to developers. This page have mentioned the new Edge features and the Galaxy S7 Edge name by mistake along with the Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+. So, this confirms the existence of the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone and will be launched along with Galaxy S7 smartphone in the February 21 event of Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to launch with a 5.1-inch display and will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC is some markets and the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor in others. It will have 4GB of RAM and will come in 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage variants. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It will be backed up by the 3000mAh battery with all necessary connectivity options.
The Galaxy S7 Edge has been spotted in benchmark databases recently revealing its key specs. The device was spotted listed on AnTuTu and GeekBench databases. It comes with a 5.5-inch display with with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a larger 3600mAh battery as compared to Galaxy S7’s battery. It will have the same other specs like the Galaxy S7 that includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC or the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processors, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage variants, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
Samsung has recently listed its unannounced tablet Galaxy Tab E 7.0 on its official website confirming the specifications of the device. It comes with a 7.0-inch TFT display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and doesn’t include any S Pen. It is powered by an unknown 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and it has 1 GB of RAM instead opf the rumored 1.5 GB. It has 8 GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 32GB MicroSD card expandable storage.
Galaxy Tab E 7.0 runs on unknown Android version and features a 2-megapixel CMOS camera on rear side and the same 2-megapixel CMOS camera on the front. The rear camera doesn’t have any LED flash and auto focus is also not supported. It comes with a 3600 mAh non-removable battery with up to 71 hours of audio playback time and up to 8 hours of video playback time. It comes with connectivity options like USB 2.0, GPS, Glonass, 3.5 mm stereo, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. measures 193.4 x 116.4 x 9.7 mm and weights 310 grams. This tablet doesn’t come with S-Voice and mobile TV support. This tablet comes features like ultra power saving mode and other Android features.
