AmanChinese manufacturer Gionee has launched the Gionee S6 smartphone in India that was launched in China in November last year. The Gionee S6 is now available on Flipkart e-retailer website in India with a price tag of INR 19,999 (around $296) and is available in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold color options. The Gionee S6 is slim smartphone from Gionee that is just 6.9mm thick. It comes with full metal body and is also listed on official Gionee store but with coming soon tag.
Gionee S6 comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core Mediatek MT6753 Processor with Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Amigo 3.1 UI on top.
It features a 13-megapixel camera with LED Flash and 1080p video recording with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. This phone supports hybrid Dual SIM slot and comes with 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio too. It has a 3150mAh non-removable battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB Type-C. It measures 151.9×74.6×6.9mm and weights 148gms.
The flipkart listing also comes with an exchange offer where the interested customers can exchange up to Rs. 8000 by replacing their old device.
