The Chinese smartphones maker OPPO has now launched an entry-level smartphone Oppo Sky in the Mexico. The device is silently listed on Oppo Mexico website with full specifications and images of the device. Oppo Sky will be exclusive to the Mexican carrier Telcel which will start selling this device in the coming days. The device is listed on Mexican retailer for 1739 Peso (around $92). There was no official announcement from Oppo about this smartphone yet and the global availability details of the device are also not known yet.
The entry-level Oppo Sky comes with a 4.5-inches FWVGA IPS LCD display which has 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926) processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB inbuilt storage capacity with microSD card expandable storage up to 32 GB. It runs on outdated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box with company’s Coloros UI on top.
Oppo Sky features a 5-megapixel rear camera with a soft light LED flash and f / 2.4 aperture. It also comes with a 2-megapixel front facing camera with f / 2.8 aperture. The camera comes with features like Normal, Beautify, HDR, Panorama and Audio photo. This device is equipped with a Li-Po 1900 mAh (non-removable) battery. Connectivity options available are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, OTG and single SIM support.
