Samsung is going to launch the next Galaxy S series flagships Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in its February 21st event at Barcelona MWC 2016 event. Both the flagship devices were leaked a number of times online revealing the design of both phones. The internet leakster, Evan Blass has now posted some more screenshots from the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone that comes with three color options in the leaked renders.
The new tweet from Evan Blass suggests three color options for the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone that will be Silver, Gold and black and we can expect same color options for the Galaxy S7 as well. These renders gives us the clear view of the unannounced Galaxy S7 Edge. The display on the renders shows the MWC 2016 event date of Samsung that is February 21 and the fingerprint scanner available on the home button of the device. The rear panel shows us the rear camera with LED flash with Samsung logo branding below the camera module. At the bottom, we can see the ‘Galaxy S7 Edge’ written in white color on all three color variants.
To recall, The Galaxy S7 rumored specifications includes a 5.1-inch display and will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC is some markets and the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor in others. It will have 4GB of RAM and will come in 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage variants. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It will be backed up by the 3000mAh battery with all necessary connectivity options.
The Galaxy S7 Edge has been spotted in benchmark databases recently revealing its key specs. The device was spotted listed on AnTuTu and GeekBench databases. It comes with a 5.5-inch display with with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a larger 3600mAh battery. It will have the same other specs like the Galaxy S7 that includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC or the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processors, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB inbuilt storage variants, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
Both the devices have been already certified by US FCC with Korean, US and global variants. The Korean FCC filling has already confirmed the 3600 mAh battery for the Galaxy S7 Edge and the different model numbers were also spotted for the Korean and US carriers. The MWC event is just a week away from now and we may see a number of new products from Samsung in this event.
