Sony UK has just announced on their Twitter account that a number of Sony Xperia devices will start getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update starting March 7 in the UK. The devices includes Xperia Z5 series smartphones, Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z3+. The tweet also slears that the March 7 is not the exact date, when the update will be ready the confirmed timings will be shared by the company with the customers. So, the March 7 is the date when the update roll-out is likely to begin.

The Sony Xperia Z5 is already getting the Marshmallow update in Turkey and a Facebook post from Sony Turkey has also confirmed via an image that Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium and the Xperia Z3+ will also get them soon and the image also shows us the status of the update for the above stated devices. The image confirmed that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Xperia Z5 series smartphone has been finalised, while the update for the Xperia Z3+ is in the final stage.
According to various online reports the Sony handsets that will get the Android 6.0 marshmallow update in the coming days includes Sony Xperia M4, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia C4, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia 2 Tablet and the Xperia M5.
