The rumored HP’s upcoming Windows 10 smartphone has been official now in the MWC 2016 event of HP. It is the first ever smartphone from HP which was mainly having PC business till now. The HP Elite X3 was rumored a number of times previously and the Twitter leakster Evan blass confirmed the name to be HP Elite X3 few days back via his tweet. The HP Elite X3 comes with helfy specifications and will compete major smartphone having windows 10 mobile OS. The company hasn’t revealed any pricing and availability details of this device.
The HP Elite X3 comes with a 5.96-inch AMOLED WQHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. it comes with 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 2TB with the help of microSD card. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box and comes with Iris Scanner and Fingerprint sensor.
It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with FHD and f/2.0 aperture. It also features an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 4150 mAh Li-ion polymer non- removable battery with quick charging feature. Connectivity options includes 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2×2), WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE combo USB 3.0 port with Type-C connector. It also comes with IP67 rating for dust- and water-resistance and MIL-STD-810 rating with assurance of device protection for drops from up to 1 meter. It measures 83.5 x7.8 x 161.8 mm and weights 195grams.
